What Our Clients Actually Achieve

These aren’t generic testimonials. Each story shows how organizations used data-driven insights to improve communication, align leadership, and build high performing teams.

“There are over 14,000 teams at Intel, and we needed a tool to support teams that were forming, storming, and reforming. Birkman is such a powerful and versatile solution, helping teams improve communication, understanding and empathy for each other. I know it’s working when I hear teams start to joke with each other about their Birkman Colors or stress behaviors. Plus, Birkman’s support is fantastic. They make the teambuilding process easy!”

Cortney Rothman, Intel Leadership Coach and Assessment Product Manager

Many other personality assessments like DiSC and Myers Briggs show productive and unproductive behaviors, but they don’t tell you why. Birkman’s bread and butter show productive behaviors, unproductive behaviors, and employees’ needs to be their best self—something important for our staff to understand.

Justine Gamble, Utah Valley University HR Generalist for Communication and Culture

The Birkman reports have been very helpful at my company in expanding and improving communication between individuals and teams.  It has allowed us to more deeply understand our co-workers' needs and inform how we interact with each other.  Using the Birkman colors and referring to the reports has become part of our culture.  We'd like to keep the Birkman going strong and periodically provide team building activities that reinforce Birkman at Atlas Systems.  I'm getting certified to help keep the program focus going.

"The Birkman Method led to an increase in retention and our ability to leverage individual strengths. An engaged employee is a more productive employee."

Laura Rohde, Marcum HR Director

The impact we’ve seen with
Birkman has definitely been
teams working together
better, and for us, the end
goal is better results. And so
how we believe we get better
results is because if teams are
working in a psychologically
safe environment then they’re
going to be more creative and
innovative in the ideas they
come up with.

Mark Harrell Director of Team Effectiveness, Autodesk

I chose The Birkman Method as the data-gathering instrument for my dissertation because it was the best option for revealing how the participants of my research normally act and how they need others to act towards them. The participants for this study were Senior and Executive Pastors, and Birkman allowed me to successfully provide quality feedback to the participants that will help them in their working relationships. Strengths Finder and 5 Voices were considered for this research, but the two assessments failed to provide credible scientific data needed for this quantitative study. Thanks to Birkman International, I was able to gather the data necessary for my work and complete the requirements for my Ph.D.

Sean Conrad, Prepare On Purpose Owner and Coach

We’ve all experienced working for organizations that focus on what’s wrong and try to get us to fix it. It’s a negative and demoralizing approach. Birkman helps us identify and leverage our strengths to address any challenge. That’s so much more appealing and fits with our culture.

My conversations with employees are enlightening. They express such gratitude for that self-awareness that illuminates their path and gets them to where they want to go.

We are about to reintroduce the concept of Appreciative Inquiry which, while highly effective, can sometimes be considered soft and philosophical. To give it a solid foundation, we pair it with Birkman, our rock in leadership strategies.
