Business Development Representative
Are you on the hunt for exciting new challenges that will boost your professional growth? You are a curious person by nature and a BDR/SDR by trade; we would love to hear from you! We are looking for engaging individuals who are comfortable partnering with Fortune 1000 Executive Leaders, Business Owners, CEOs’, and Human Resource and Training Professionals to help them run successful organizations and teams.
You will be handling existing clients along with inbound and outbound leads, following a sales cycle and marketing cadence. To be successful, you will prospect with new and existing clients, convert leads to clients, and must be willing to work as part of a team. Our sales team is small, but mighty, and we require all members to support the team to achieve our goals. If you are not willing to do whatever it takes or are a lone wolf, this may not be the position for you.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with existing and new organizations to convert opportunities using a proven process while capturing your activities and successes using a comprehensive stack with Salesforce as the backbone. It would be best if you worked well with moderate to low supervision. You are okay with direct coaching and holding yourself accountable to the agreed-upon goals—experience with assessments, training, HR, or talent development is helpful.
This will be a full-time position at our headquarters in Houston, Texas. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days working from home. Product Design Manager
The Product Design Manager’s primary responsibility is to identify product opportunities that are valuable, usable, and feasible for Birkman to launch to market, and then guide those projects to completion in cooperation with content SMEs, Operations Management, and IT/Engineering resources.
The Product Design Manager role is the intersection between business, technology, and user experience. The individual in this role must have relevant experience in at least one of these areas, be passionate about all three, and be able to drive actionable conversations with stakeholders in all three areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become the company’s expert in the space in which its products exist.
- Work to define and represent the company’s product vision as new initiatives are planned, developed, and launched into new working products
- Be the liaison, translator, and diplomat unifying all people in the company vested in the product vision; specifically, communicating the product vision to employees and fostering engagement across all departments
- Create a strategic product development framework that guides how the company explores new product opportunities or improves existing products, including innovating, researching, ideating, and prioritizing those initiatives
- Research and conduct collaborative ideation activities, including Design Thinking and Design Sprints
- Plan feasible, cost-effective iterations of new products; synthesize ideas into a business case for why the company should develop the product and what value it provides customers
- Coordinate interdepartmental teams to develop the design, define requirements, and make strategic decisions to ensure the successful launch of the new and enhanced products to market
- Represent the customer and be the company’s expert on how users interact with its products (e.g., through user research, usability testing, etc.) and apply this knowledge to refining product strategy
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Design, Software Development, or other related position
- Relevant training and industry-recognized certifications are a big plus, such as:
- Agile Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Agile Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- User Experience (UX) Analysis certification or similar credential
- Certified Product Manager (CPM)
- IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
- IIBA Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
- Strategic thinking by closely working with leadership to determine which initiatives fit into the Product team’s strategic framework and which should be developed into products (priority, value, ROI, etc.)

- Point-of-contact for Products team initiatives and ongoing projects
- Acts as the company’s thought leader in product innovation and advocates industry best practices
- Communicates clearly in both 1:1 meetings and group meetings
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creates and delivers effective presentations to senior leadership

Senior Marketing Manager
Birkman International is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to help us shake our reputation as the assessment industry’s “best-kept secret” and increase our share in a growing market. We need someone to help us leverage a very strong brand loyalty into a reputation that leads to increased exposure in the marketplace and the attraction of new clients who may have a short attention span with a product that has a long, slow burn of a sales process.
The Senior Marketing Manager will report through our Relationship Management team and be a key member of the Customer Success leadership team. This is a new position to the company and will inherit experienced staff members while also having the opportunity to recruit for open staff positions.
