Rob Thompson is the Global Head of Direct Sales and Marketing for Birkman International, Inc. In this role, Rob is responsible for leading Birkman’s marketing efforts and the direct sales of the full suite of Birkman’s offerings to the corporate market.
Before joining Birkman, Rob was the founder and lead consultant for a firm he started in 2014. In that role, Rob worked with sales and marketing organizations throughout North America to build or rebuild existing sales and marketing teams and develop a cohesive sales and marketing strategy looking at employees, processes, and systems to create a buyer-centric sales process. Prior to creating his consulting firm, he was the sales leader at a global investment firm growing sales and opportunities with key accounts and also as the Director of Sales Operations and Enablement.
Rob is a native of Rhode Island and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from the University of Houston. Rob loves to spend his spare time with his family and volunteer for several charitable organizations in the Greater Houston area, including the Boy Scouts of America, Greater Houston Partnership, Central Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, and the Sugar Land Exchange Club.
