Self-Leadership is the first course in Birkman’s Rise To Lead coaching program, designed for you to develop your employees to maximize their success. It’s fun. It’s interesting. It’s personal. It helps your employees, specialists, and coordinators prepare for the future—and helps you prepare your leadership pipeline.

Q: Do I have to be Birkman Certified to use the Self-Leadership program?
A: Self-Leadership, the first course of Rise To Lead, does not require Birkman Signature Certification or traditional Birkman training. A comprehensive facilitator guide is included in the workshop for ease of implementation, which includes all of the information and steps needed for anyone from an HR professional to a team leader to run this program successfully. For best results and maximum comfort with the materials, if you are hosting the program, we recommend the facilitator guide be reviewed in full prior to the session.
Q: My individual contributors do not have a full day to allocate to do this program. Can we still do it?
A: Yes! This program has five modules, each 1.5 hours long. Self-Leadership can be performed in one full day or in multi-sessions. Because this program is divided into five distinct modules, leaders can choose to divide these sections in a way that best aligns with their schedules, such as two four-hour sessions or even one module at a time over the course of five weeks.
Q: How is this program different than other Birkman offerings?
A: Distinct from other Birkman report offerings, this program is a solution-first workshop aimed at developing stronger self-leadership skills for your individual contributors. Therefore, this program intentionally leverages relevant Birkman reports to achieve this specific goal. In this workshop, the Birkman information is used as a tool to guide each individual as they move through their journey of developing stronger self-leadership skills.
Q: I cannot host this program. Where can I send my employees to participate in the program?
A: We understand that some companies may not have the resources to facilitate or host their own program. That’s okay! Contact Sales to discuss facilitation options, virtual delivery, and training venues.
