Led by Lynn Greene, Birkman Authorized Trainer
Tuesday, Sept. 26—Wednesday, Sept. 27
This comprehensive two-day workshop (previously called Intermediate Certification) builds on the foundation of the knowledge you gained from Birkman Signature Certification.
Birkman Advanced Concepts takes you on a journey that will have Birkman Certified Professionals looking at the scales and scores from a totally new vantage point. The workshop will take you deeper into important topics and challenge their understanding.
The Components are explored in-depth from a social psychology context with core emotional and rational factors identified. We also explore how the Components are identified on the Birkman Map and natural pairings of Components that can be used to bring insight to the conversation when that “natural” pairing is broken.
Preferred Work Styles (the most misunderstood scales we have!) are clearly and exhaustively discussed, with their value to the conversation identified.
After exploring all of these new insights into the instrument, participants will make the applications to a case study that will challenge even the most experienced Birkman Certified Professional.
The agenda includes:
• How Components Impact the Birkman Map
• Component Interactions/Patterns
• In-Depth Exploration of Components
• Extensive Discussion of Preferred Work Styles
Note: Completion of this course is required for Birkman Advanced Certified Professional status. BACPs are eligible to participate in the Birkman Consultant Network and other programs.
